Turns out I was wrong - some of the monitoring websites only post aftershocks above a certain level. They've continued right on, and are likely to do so for up to one or two years from the original quake. They'll get less frequent and less intense over time though.

Nope, and it turns out the aftershocks didn't actually go away for those 24 hours either. The shocks for that day just didn't rate a mention on some of the wesbites that keep track :D
